Aquarius has announced the launch of a vote delegation system using the Stellar blockchain, where users can delegate their ICE tokens to trusted community members known as delegates who vote using a new token called dICE. This system allows users to earn protocol rewards, manage voting strategy, and support delegates that align with their values. It also prepares for future Aquarius DAO governance participation. Delegates can either participate for governance strategy, yield, or community alignment and will be promoted on the Aquarius site. To encourage participation, 10 million AQUA tokens will be distributed monthly among top delegates, based on their voting power. Launching in June, features include market vote delegation, on-chain dICE minting, and delegate directories with public profiles, underscoring its relevance to community-driven governance on the Stellar network.
